You may be tempted you go full ham on stamina gear for a flag carrying build. This is not the most optimal way to build a flag carrying Druid. You need to strike a delicate balance between having enough health and mana. The extra health is useless when you can’t shapeshift out of stuns and slows. At the same time, maximizing mana and trying to shapeshift your way to victory just isn’t going to work. You need to make sure you use as much leather as possible is going to maximize your damage mitigation through a higher armor value. The gear listed on this build attempts to strike that balance.

Tier 0:
Gear that is easily accessible (usually exclusively AH) but not optimal. This gear should be used if you cannot get access to Tier 1 twink gear for whatever reason. Tier 1: Gear that can be obtained from the AH (at a reasonable price), through dungeon runs or through high level quests. Much of Tier 1 is viable long-term. Tier 2: Gear that can be obtained from the AH but is usually extremely expensive. Tree Bark Jacket, Twisted Chanter’s Staff and Shadowfang are a few items that fit into this category. It’s recommended to grab these types of items whenever someone puts them on the AH at a low cost. Tier 3: Gear that can be obtained but is usually part of an extensive grind or has to be competed for. |
